The Division of Academic Affairs at Dar Al-Hekma University is the central administrative unit responsible for all aspects related to the university’s academic programs and services. It is one of the four major divisions at DAH, alongside the Division of Graduate Studies, Research and Business, the Division of Students and Alumni Relations, and the Division of Finance and Administration.

Central Academic Advising and Examination Unit

This unit consists of a team of professional academic advisors who provide comprehensive support to students. The CAAEU also provides support for those facing academic challenges and investigates cases of academic misconduct.
Additionally, the unit handles exam management tasks as assigned by the AA office, including preparing examination reports and ensuring the fairness and integrity of exams across Dar Al-Hekma’s academic programs.
Curriculum Development Unit
Your course of study is safe and secure with this unit. From course selection to program structure, this unit is dedicated to providing you with a high-quality educational experience. It is responsible for managing all aspects related to program design, curriculum development, and course offerings. Some of its primary functions include:
● Develop existing academic curricula as well as create new ones.
● Ensure that the program curriculum meets the guidelines set by the Ministry of Education.
● Make final decisions about proposals made for any course changes, additions, and deletions.
● Develop academic program guidelines that follow the university’s policies.
● Prepare the senior exit exam to assess the effectiveness of the curriculum.
Faculty Development Unit

This training—provided by the Faculty Development Unit— contributes to DAH’s overall mission and reputation. Assessment Unit
The Assessment Unit measures the quality of the institution’s learning outcomes and graduate attributes, ensuring that students master the skills and knowledge of their respective fields by the end of their academic journey. Some of its primary responsibilities include developing assessment guidelines, forms, and policies, reviewing the program’s annual report, and following up with any program’s modifications.
Internship Unit
The Internship Unit at DAH makes finding the ideal internship match so easy. The unit works closely with government agencies, non-profit organizations, academic departments, and career services to share internship opportunities and build solid relationships for future collaboration.
